Live at Lava

Name/theme of Camp: Live at Lava

Location: Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Senior Center

Nearest Airports: Pocatello, Salt Lake City, Idaho Falls

Time of Year: Every spring and fall

Weather: Usually very pleasant. We are late enough in the spring that flowers are blooming and it has warmed up, we are early enough in the fall before serious snow flies.

Who Attends: People from all over. We are currently attracting more people from the local community.

Accommodations: Attendees get their own motels throughout the town. All motels are within walking distance to the dance hall. They are older, but nice motels, with reasonable prices. Some motels have their own hot spring pools.

Special Considerations: Zikr evening on Saturday night. Experienced leaders may have an opportunity to lead. Pot luck meal on Friday night. We work hard to support various diets, and bringing your own special needs food works great.

Special Features: The town of Lava Hot Springs is full of natural hot pools. We have a special relationship with one private pool that allows us weekend passes for a small fee. Great dance leading staff with Connie Zareen and Eric Narayan usually focusing the sessions. Bazaar, dance leader training, and special classes on Saturday afternoon.

Contact: Connie Zareen Delaney 208-756-3076. Or use contact form on our website.
